The awards recognise and reward the excellent work of
Riverside's employees. It is an opportunity for colleagues to
nominate one another and for the organisation to highlight just
some of the amazing work that happens every day across its
operations.
Over 70 nominations were received for this
year’s awards and as usual the judging panel had a tough time
narrowing down the entries to assess which projects provide
improved services for our residents / tenants / owners / customers.
On 30 September the awards ceremony was hosted by CSC Director,
Anna Bishop, and Mersey North Director, Tom McGuire in
Liverpool.
Deborah Shackleton, Chief Executive, carried out her
traditional role handing out trophies to the winners. She also made
a closing speech which marked her last Riverside staff awards
ceremony as Group Chief Executive. “Once again, I have been
overwhelmed by the quality of nominations and the fabulous work
done by everyone here today, and I particularly congratulate the
winners. Of all the things and the people I’ll miss when I
retire from Riverside, Staff Awards Day will stand out. These
occasions are very special and so are all of you.”
