Irvine Housing Association has announced that
it has been selected by North Ayrshire Council to be the preferred
partner for the development of 56 affordable homes on Arran later
this year. The development will benefit from £2.4m of
Scottish Government Innovation and Investment funding, topped up by
£798,280 provided by North Ayrshire Council.
The development in Lamlash has a target date
to start on-site in May 2012 and complete in November 2013. It will
comprise of 40 units for social rent and 16 for shared equity
sale.
