We operate a 24 hour Telecare monitoring
service for over 4000 older and vulnerable people through our
Liverpool and Carlisle monitoring centres.
The service is designed to offer a
cost-effective method of continuously monitoring the well being of
our service users and can be used as an alternative to 24 hour
staffing or to facilitate an earlier return to the home for
hospital patients.
Using the latest state-of-the-art technology,
each customer carries a personal trigger and/or fall detector,
which once activated sends an automatic call to our highly trained
dedicated team.
Upon receipt of this call, our team can either
talk directly to the customer to ascertain the appropriate course
of action, or if the customer is unconscious the operator can call
the emergency services.
Amongst the products and solutions we offer
are:
- Personal monitoring – via an activation trigger
- Fall / motion detection – that doesn’t require activation, it
will send a signal in response to motion or lack of activity
- Mobile response (Cumbria only) – where a dedicated team will
visit in response to a call, particularly useful to prevent
unnecessary 999 call-outs and hospital visits.
Why we are different
We care about people. As a not-for profit
social business our core business is transforming lives and
revitalising neighbourhoods. We combine this with a sound business
model that reduces risk and saves money for our business partners,
without ever compromising customer care.
