Riverside have been informed by
Fountains, who provide the communal cleaning service at many
of our properties/schemes, that regrettably they have gone
into administration and effectively ceased trading on Monday
23rd January 2012 and can no longer provide the cleaning
service for us for which they are contracted.
Riverside are doing everything it can to
find an alternative cleaning company who can take over from
Fountains with the minimum of disruption to the service our
tenats / residents receive.
We will advise of the progress we are making
and the name of the new cleaning contractor as soon as we are able
too.
Some residents will no doubt be concerned
about their current cleaner who was employed by Fountains. As
we understand it they have been made redundant which is a matter
over which Riverside has no influence or control.
It may be the case that they are taken on by
the new cleaning contractor but again this is something which is
beyond the control of Riverside.
We can confirm, however, that for any weeks
where you do not receive a cleaning service, your service charge
will be reduced accordingly.
