Hull Outreach Services

Our floating support service has been developed to help you manage any issues that could affect your tenancy or your ability to be happy in your home.

A fully trained support worker will visit you on a regular basis to help with things like sorting out debts, speaking to your landlord and accessing other services such as healthcare.

We can provide support up to a maximum of two years. You might benefit from this service if you’ve just moved into a home of your own for the first time. Perhaps you were living in supported housing before and you’re just getting used to living alone.

The aim of the service is to give you more independence, helping you to keep your tenancy and improve your future prospects.

Terry Street: Floating support service for vulnerable people with mental health needing support

Cosford Garth Assessment and support for 16 to 18 years

Supports those who are at risk of offending or have offended, vulnerable or have complex needs including those with learning difficulties and those leaving a care setting environment.

Outreach is 18 to 20 years, who are at risk of offending or have offended, vulnerable or have complex needs including those with learning difficulties and those leaving a care setting environment.

Provides  temporary accommodation that offers a safe supportive environment, to empower young people to develop and maintain living skills to their individual maximum potential. To exercise control over their own life, living in and as part of the community in a dignified manner, in partnership with the Young Peoples Support Service. We aim to encourage all our young people to make informed choices whatever our tenants individual needs may be

The service assesses those with learning disabilities and who may be finding it difficult to sustain a tenancy, requiring resettlement, harassment, isolation etc. Support levels are negotiated and planned according to the identified needs.

Clearview: Assessment and support for people with substance misuse problems needing support

The service provides medium term accommodation and support services to people with mental health issues and complex support needs that will include drug / alcohol dependency. The service is intended for people who are committed and motivated to accessing treatment, establishing stability and maintaining a drug free life and who may be finding it difficult to sustain a tenancy, requiring resettlement, harassment, isolation etc. Support levels are negotiated and planned according to the identified needs.

Referrals are accepted from a variety of statutory and voluntary bodies including, Probation Service, Social Services, and Local Health Authorities.

Referrals are not required and prospective service users should present at the project or call on a daily basis for information on the availability of rooms.
