Count me in!

The ‘Count Me In’ tenant panel is a service which tenants can choose to become a member of to provide Riverside with their opinions on a range of housing issues, to help us to improve the services that they receive.

TenantsFederationPanel members are regularly asked for their opinions which are of an interest to them, taking into account their preferred consultation topics and their preferred method(s) of consultation (see below for list of options).

Panel members can also choose how involved they want to be through selecting how many consultations they would be willing to take part in per year. Any Riverside tenants over the age of 14 are able to become a panel member.

Whenever a ‘Count Me In’ panel member takes part in a consultation they are entered into a prize draw, giving them the opportunity to win gift vouchers.

Riverside will take into account individual needs, such as providing information in large print, or on audio tape, and provide translations or verbal interpretation if required. Tenants’ views are treated anonymously and are treated in confidence in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will adhere to Riverside’s Equality and Diversity Policy in all dealings with panel members.

Currently (January 2012), we have 897 panel members:

-        74% are White British, 8% minority ethnic and 18% unknown/other

-        57% male, 42% female

-        Count Me In is most popular amongst the 45 to 74 year olds, especially
          within the age band 55-64.
