Irvine Housing Association is a non-profit
making Housing Association established in 1993, registered with,
and monitored by, the Scottish Housing Regulator. It is also a
registered Industrial & Provident Society. We are a
registered Scottish Charity No. SC042251.
By 1996 we owned and managed over 1,500 properties in Irvine and
Kilwinning, North Ayrshire. Our General Outline and internal
structure provides an insight into how we operate as a
business.
By 1997 our rented stock increased to over 1,900
properties when tenants voted to transfer their homes from Dumfries
& Galloway Council to Irvine Housing Association.
After three years of providing housing and financial services on
an agency basis to Coylebank Tenants Co-operative in Drongan,
East Ayrshire, we undertook a transfer of engagements on 1 April
2004.
In October 2011, Irvine Housing Association became a subsidiary
of The Riverside Group.
Taking account of new housing developments, in 2011 the
Association's stock was in excess of 2,100 properties.
