Interim Executive Director, Customer Service

Andrea Thorn joined Riverside in December 2018 when she was appointed to Assistant Director of Impact Housing Association, a former subsidiary of Riverside, following the merger in August 2018. She quickly progressed to the role of Managing Director and led the full business integration of Impact Housing which was completed in October 2021.

Andrea was appointed Director of Homes & Communities in May 2021, a national role, leading the tenancy, neighbourhood and estate management services; allocations and lettings; income management; community safety; customer involvement & engagement; and community resilience and empowerment services.

She has had a lifetime career in social housing, having spent over 30 years with Home Group before joining Riverside, working her way from Housing Assistant to Director of Customer Service.

Andrea is passionate about delivering a brilliant customer experience and worked directly with customers to co-produce and deliver our Customer Experience Strategy, demonstrating our organisations commitment to listen, act and feed back to customers through the delivery of trusted customer services.
