About us

We are a professional maintenance, repairs and facilities management company and a commercial subsidiary of Riverside.

Since we were established in 2010 we have grown to become the largest in-house service provider in the country. We joined Riverside in 2012 and now look after around 80% of Riverside’s properties across the UK.

We employ 500 people nationwide and provide training and work experience under our Apprenticeship programmes and Student Rescue Scheme. Find out more in the ‘Join us’ section below.

What we do

We provide a wide range of services, including:

  • Programmed repairs and maintenance
  • Proactive repairs and maintenance (under the Property MOT programme)
  • Reactive repairs and maintenance
  • Component renewals
  • Gas servicing and installation
  • 24 hour emergency out-of-hours service

We look after improvements and repair work for around 80% of Riverside’s properties, which means our staff work across the country to keep your homes safe and well looked after.

Gas servicing and installation

One of the biggest repairs and maintenance issues we look after is gas servicing and installation.

We have seen excellent results and have recently helped Riverside achieve 100% compliance on gas servicing.

Health and Safety

Health and safety is our biggest priority, for both our customers and our employees. Our Health & Safety Team are committed to making sure our employees receive the right training and that we can work safely at all times.

Every employee is issued with a standard uniform, an ID badge and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to make sure they are easily visible and protected while on site.

When working with other companies, we carry out checks to ensure they meet the correct standards for Health and Safety.


Our health and safety management systems are certified to the OHSAS 18001 management standard, and our environmental systems to the ISO14001 standard, which are subjected to an annual external audit.

Our Gas and Electrical Compliance teams carry out regular audits, both internally and for the companies we work with, to make sure we are meeting best practice standards and following legislation correctly.

Evolve in the Community

We believe it is our duty to contribute to the communities we work in by helping local people fulfil their potential.

Since we joined the Riverside family, we have recruited around 50 apprentices under our apprenticeship programme who have gone on to qualify or are working towards qualifications in a wide range of trades.

We take part in the annual Apprenticeship Cup tournament, where we send apprentices to be part of the crew on-board a Tall Ship, learning new skills and working as a team at sea.

We also help students gain the vital, hands-on experience they need to qualify in their chosen trade through our Student Rescue Scheme.

We support local social enterprises by adding them to our supply chain, or even helping them out with repairs, expertise or providing equipment.

Customer Service

Providing the best experience and service for our customers is our absolute priority. That’s why we offer an upper-quartile service, using your feedback to implement positive changes, ensure we’re improving and deliver continuity in our services.

We understand that having work done in your home can be quite stressful. We work hard to make sure that everything goes smoothly and there is as little disruption to you as possible.

We try to finish repairs in as few visits as possible, and we provide specialist training to ensure our employees are fully equipped to cater for your needs while working in your home.

Whether we are installing a new bathroom or fixing a fence panel, we aim to work quickly and efficiently with as little disruption to you as possible, which is why our vans are well stocked and our operatives are often qualified in more than one trade.
