We advertise some of our properties through Wigan and Leigh Housing. Properties are advertised on a weekly cycle from 9am Thursday until 5.30pm on the following Tuesday. You have six days to bid for properties. Please be sure that you only select properties that are suitable as you may lose priority if you continuously bid for properties that you subsequently refuse. Please note that there are no properties available on Wednesdays. A housing application form should be completed by new applicants who wish to apply for Council or housing association properties in the Wigan Borough.  There are several online forms available here. You must save online forms to your computer/device before filling them in or they will not work properly. A housing register change of address form should be completed by applicants who are already on the housing register but their housing circumstances have changed. e.g. change of address. For Council or Housing Association tenants who wish to advertise their homes for exchange with another tenant the mutual exchange application form should be completed. Unless you are a Wigan Council tenant, two references should be supplied before your application can be accepted. If you are, or have been a tenant in the past, at least one reference should be from your former landlord. The reference form document should be completed.
