Ark House provides supported accommodation for vulnerable young people aged 16 to 25 who are registered as homeless. Each resident has their own self-contained accommodation while also having access to shared spaces and on-site support.
The service focuses on helping young people build the skills they need to live independently. Support Workers are available on site at all times to offer guidance and practical help. Support is personalised and may include managing money, cooking healthy meals, claiming benefits, and accessing education or training. The aim is to prepare residents to move on successfully into their own future tenancies.
Young People and Ofsted Services
Ark House works specifically with young people who need housing and support at a key stage in their lives. The service encourages residents to have a voice, get involved in activities, and build confidence as they prepare for independent living.
