Our floating support service offers housing‑related support to people with an offending background who are on licence. Support is provided to those living in their own accommodation or moving on from temporary housing.
We help you set up a tenancy and build the skills you need to keep your home. If things become difficult and your tenancy is at risk, we can step in with short‑term crisis support to help stabilise the situation.
The service is open to men and women aged 18 to 65 who have an offending background or are at risk of re‑offending and who are ordinarily resident in the borough of Bolton. You will need to have an identified support need.
Referrals can be made by any support agency working with offenders, or you can self‑refer.
Getting the most out of our service
To benefit from the service, you need to be ready to actively engage with a Support Worker. In return, we will help you build the skills and confidence needed to maintain your tenancy.
We also support you to connect with your local community, build self‑esteem, and work towards your personal goals and aspirations.
