Bracken Court, Leeds

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Bracken Court offers supported housing for single people who need help to manage a tenancy and move on to permanent accommodation. The service focuses on building confidence and practical skills so residents can live independently in the future.

Bracken Court is not permanent housing. Most people stay between 6 and 18 months. During this time, staff work closely with residents to help them learn how to manage a tenancy successfully. Support is available for repairs, benefits, budgeting, and other tenancy-related issues.

All homes use electric pre-pay meters. New tenants are asked to bring money for electricity when they move in. Staff will show residents how to top up their meter at a local shop.

When residents are ready to move on, Bracken Court can refer them to the Engage Leeds Visiting Support Service. This extra support helps people settle into their next home and manage their tenancy independently.

Eligibility criteria

  • Single people with a housing need
