Bromley Supported Housing

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Bromley Supported Housing is an accommodation‑based service, meaning support is provided on site where customers live. Support is delivered through one‑to‑one and group sessions, using a trauma‑informed and psychologically informed approach. Customers are supported both within the service and in the local community, helping them build skills, confidence and independence over time.

Each customer is allocated a dedicated Journey Coach who works with them to create a personalised support plan based on goals chosen by the customer. A Journey Co‑ordinator provides additional support, particularly around planning and managing a successful move on into independent living. The service works closely with external agencies, including healthcare providers, the DWP, adult social care, training providers and employers, to make sure customers can access the right support at the right time.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a Service Manager on site during core hours. There is also additional oversight from an Area Manager who visits weekly, and out‑of‑hours support is provided through an on‑call rota. This is a long‑term service, designed to help customers develop the skills they need to live independently, maintain a tenancy and progress towards education, training and employment.

How this service is different

By working closely with the London Borough of Bromley, local training providers, employers and the DWP, the service goes beyond housing support. It actively helps customers improve their wellbeing, gain skills, move into education or work and successfully sustain an independent tenancy when they are ready to move on.
