Cambridge Youth Foyer provides supported housing for young people aged 16 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and want to move towards education, training, employment, and independent living. The service offers a safe, welcoming place to live, with practical and emotional support tailored to each young person’s needs.
Referrals are made through the Young Futures Partnership via the Housing Advice Team at Cambridge City Council. Once you arrive, you will be matched with a dedicated support worker who will help you create a personalised support plan based on your goals and ambitions.
You are encouraged to attend regular support sessions, ask for help when you need it, and talk openly about what you want to achieve. You can also suggest new activities and get involved in the day‑to‑day running of the Foyer.
Move‑on flats are available to help you take the next step towards independence. After your stay, you should feel ready to manage your own tenancy. Move‑on support is available if you need extra help once you move into your own home.
