Clarence House is a purpose-built supported housing scheme designed to help people with complex needs move towards independent living. Each resident lives in their own en-suite studio flat, giving them privacy and independence, while still having access to support on site.
Everyone who lives at Clarence House is supported by a named support worker. Together, they create a personal support plan based on individual needs and goals. Residents also receive tailored skills advice to help them build confidence, resilience, and everyday living skills.
Training and workshops are delivered on site and focus on helping residents develop the skills they need to move away from street homelessness. For people who are ready to take the next step, the scheme offers a “move on” service to help them settle into longer-term housing and avoid returning to homelessness.
Residents can stay for up to 18 months, depending on their circumstances and progress.
