This service provides supported housing for both under 18s and over 18s living in shared accommodation across Derby. Young people under 18 are offered direct support, while customers aged 18 and over receive low‑level housing management support. Each property is visited daily by staff to make sure customers are safe, supported, and managing well in their home.
Customers under 18 are supported by an allocated support worker, and those over 18 are supported by an allocated housing officer. Support is available between 8am and 6pm, with an out‑of‑hours emergency contact number available outside of these times.
The service helps customers with:
- Accessing health services
- Being signposted to external agencies
- Taking part in education, training, or employment
- Developing budgeting skills
- Maintaining their accommodation
- Building independent living skills
- Re‑integrating into the local community
Customers are encouraged to be involved in co‑production, giving them a voice in shaping their support and the service they receive.
