Holden Court, Barnsley

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Holden Court is located close to Barnsley town centre and local amenities. The scheme provides supported interim accommodation for single adults who are legally homeless and owed a housing duty. Residents live in their own self-contained one-bedroom flats while receiving intensive tenancy management and practical support.

All referrals come through Barnsley Council’s Housing Options Team (Homeless Team). Holden Court acts as a temporary housing option while residents build the confidence, skills, and independence needed to move into a long-term home. Staff provide regular welfare checks, tenancy support, benefit advice, and connections to specialist services to help residents achieve and maintain independent living.
