Hull Resettlement

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Hull Resettlement supports single homeless people who are ready to take their first steps towards living independently. The service is made up of one-bedroom flats located within the community and managed by a Housing Officer.

Referrals come from homeless hostels in and around the City of Hull. Customers are expected to be engaged in treatment for any support needs they have, although the Housing Officer will help where needed. Support is flexible and can be more hands-on or hands-off, depending on individual circumstances.

The aim is to help customers build confidence, develop independent living skills and create a stable housing history, so they are ready to move on to their own tenancy in the community.

How this service is different

Moving into your own home for the first time can feel overwhelming. Hull Resettlement offers a safe and secure place to live, with reassurance that support is available when you need it, helping you gain the skills and confidence to live independently.
