Laurel Court provides a safe and supportive place for adults with learning disabilities to live more independently in Huddersfield. Our focus is on helping people build everyday life skills, confidence and independence through person‑centred support.
Laurel Court supports individuals or couples aged 18 and over who have a learning disability and need supported independent living. Referrals are made through the Kirklees Social Care Team, and we work closely in partnership with Kirklees Council.
Support is tailored to each person through holistic, person-centred planning. As people grow in confidence and independence, we also support move‑on options. For those who are ready to live independently in the wider community, a care package can be arranged to help sustain their tenancy.
