Newton House, Gloucester

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Newton House supports single people aged 18 and over, both men and women, who have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness and have complex needs. This may include experiences such as street homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges, or offending behaviour.

The service provides short-term accommodation, with stays usually lasting up to six months. Referrals are made through the Local Authority, and you must meet their eligibility criteria and have identified support needs. During your stay, you will work closely with support staff to create a plan that helps you address challenges and prepare for your next step into more independent living.

How this service is different

Newton House goes beyond providing housing. You are placed at the centre of your support, with tailored help that focuses on building independence and connecting you with services that can remove barriers to moving on successfully.
