Springboard is a partnership between three experienced housing providers: Riverside, Your Housing Group and Jigsaw Support. Together, they deliver high‑quality housing and support services for people experiencing homelessness across Wigan and Leigh.
This service provides safe, fully furnished accommodation for adults aged 16+ and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Across the partnership, Springboard offers around 230 homes in a range of property types.
Springboard understands that many residents have complex and multiple support needs. Staff work in a compassionate, understanding and non‑judgemental way to help people feel safe and respected.
Every customer is offered a person‑centred support plan. This plan can include input from other agencies, as well as friends or family who are part of the customer’s support network. Support workers visit at agreed times to offer advice, guidance and practical help.
Residents are encouraged to be involved in shaping how the service works. This includes helping to co‑produce paperwork, systems and support approaches alongside staff and partners.
The main aim of the service is to help customers move on successfully to independent living. Support focuses on building the skills, confidence and stability needed to live independently in the future.

Once received, a suitability assessment will be arranged to consider accommodation and support options.
