Springhill Close provides supported housing for single people aged 18 and over who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have multiple and complex needs. The service offers high-level, one-to-one support to help residents understand their housing needs and plan their next steps.
Support focuses on building independence and helping people develop the skills needed to manage and keep a tenancy. The service works closely with Wakefield Council’s Housing Needs Service through the Single Point of Access to make sure residents receive the right support at the right time.
Springhill Close takes a recovery-focused approach. This includes harm reduction, improving resilience, and supporting people to address challenges such as drug and alcohol use, mental and physical health, and offending behaviour. The service also supports residents to improve their wellbeing and access education, training, and employment opportunities.
