The Cangle Foyer, Suffolk

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

The service supports both young people and young parents, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

Cangle Foyer is open to young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have low to medium support needs. Referrals must be approved by Social Care or local Housing Options teams. Housing and homelessness advice is available through local District or Borough Councils, including West Suffolk Council.

Support focuses on helping residents become more independent. This is done through a staged approach, starting with supported accommodation and moving on to independent flats when ready. Follow‑up support is available to help with setting up utilities, sourcing essential furniture, and settling into the community and employment. Residents can also take part in courses such as the Freedom Programme and Anger and Wellbeing Programme.

How this service is different

Cangle Foyer offers more than just a place to live. The experienced and friendly team provides structured, personalised support to help young people overcome challenges, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for independent adult life.
