The Springs, Cambridge

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

The Springs provides supported housing for single men and women with low support needs who are homeless and want to move forward with their lives. You will receive individual support to help you prepare for independent living and work towards your personal goals, including education, training, paid work, or voluntary work.

All referrals come through Inform. Every referral is assessed for need and risk, followed by an interview. Decisions are made by The Springs panel, which meets every two weeks. To be eligible, you must be aged 18–65, have a local connection to Cambridgeshire, and be willing to engage in education, employment, or training.

While living at The Springs, you will have opportunities to take part in training, conferences, and social activities. You can also become a customer representative for Riverside. When you are ready to move on, resettlement funding may be available to help you buy essential household items for your new home.

How this service is different

The Springs offers personalised support focused on education, training, and employment, while helping you become tenancy-ready so you can move on to independent living with confidence.
