Wycombe Projects, High Wycombe

What you will find at the accommodation

How the service works

Wycombe Projects provides housing and support for people who are homeless or at serious risk of homelessness and who have complex needs. This includes people affected by addiction, a history of offending, and mental or physical health issues. The service offers supported accommodation and move-on housing in the High Wycombe area, helping people build the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

If you are a single homeless man or woman, or at serious risk of becoming homeless, and you are aged between 18 and 65 with a local connection to the area, you can be referred by the local authority. You can also self-refer.

During your time with Wycombe Projects, you will receive both emotional and practical support. The team works with you to understand your situation and agree on a support plan that helps you move forward at your own pace.

Getting the most out of the service

The move-on properties are designed to be a stepping stone towards independent living. Support includes:

  • Help with understanding and managing a tenancy
  • Working with other agencies to help you maintain your wellbeing
  • Support to find a route back into employment
  • Encouragement to take part in work-like activities and work experience to build skills and confidence
  • Help to reduce social isolation by reconnecting with friends, family, or social groups
