We operate foyer‑based supported accommodation services across Cumbria for young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Our foyers offer safe housing, personalised support, and practical help to build confidence, skills, and independence.
Referrals to all services are made through Cumbria County Council’s Positive Housing Pathway.
The services support young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Each young person works with a dedicated support worker to create a Personalised Housing Pathway Plan. Progress is measured on a scale of 1–10 and reviewed every 4–6 weeks, focusing on goals chosen by the young person.
Staff are based within schemes and are available for planned support sessions and informal drop‑ins. The services focus on helping young people gain confidence, develop life skills, and prepare for independent living.
Activities include My Tenancy Matters pre‑tenancy training, cooking on a budget, and group trips such as bowling or meals out.
We support priority groups including:
- Young people aged 16–17 where the Council has a statutory duty
- Formerly looked‑after children
- Young people under 18 leaving custody
