What does getting involved from home mean?

You can share your views without travelling to a meeting or event. This could include completing a quick survey, taking part in an online discussion or joining an online focus group.

You can choose the opportunities that interest you and take part when it suits you.

How much time do I need to commit?

It depends on the opportunity. Some surveys and polls might only take a few minutes, while an online discussion or focus group may take longer.

We'll let you know how much time is involved before you decide whether to take part.

Do I have to take part every time?

No. Registering your interest doesn't mean you have to take part in every opportunity.

We'll let you know about opportunities that match your interests, and you can decide each time whether you'd like to get involved.

Do I need any experience?

No. You don't need any previous experience or special skills to get involved.

Your experience of living in your home and using our services is what matters.

Do I need a computer to take part?

Not always. Some opportunities can be completed on a smartphone or tablet, while others may require a computer or a specific online platform.

We'll give you the information you need before you take part.

What if I need help to take part online?

If you need support to take part in an online activity, let us know. We'll do our best to make sure you can get involved in a way that works for you.
