Because we had to run an “emergencies-only” service over the weekend, we are seeing high volumes of calls. So, if you do have a non-emergency issue to report – and you already have an account – why not try reporting it online via My Riverside?

Finally, thank you so much for your patience over the weekend and with the higher than usual waiting times this week. We had a low number of calls of the weekend which helped us to finalise this huge project effectively. We expect call waiting times to normalise soon.

After you have received a letter from us, you do not need to do anything. The next time you hear from us will be when our contractor contacts you to arrange a visit to your home.

During this visit, our contractor will check what is needed for the work and then discuss with you the best time for the work to start. You will need to be home to let the contractor in for this visit.

Between receiving a letter from us and our contractor getting in touch to arrange a visit to you home, we aim for no longer than 12 weeks after you have received the letter and 2-3 weeks before your pre-entry survey. We want to give you plenty of time to get ready for the work to begin.

What is included in the work will depend on the type of work you are having done. Our contractor will be able to talk you through everything that will be included in the work for your home.

During the visit to your home, our contractor will discuss design and colour options (if any are available) with you and may show you examples to help you make a decision.

As your landlord, we have an obligation to make sure your home is safe and well looked after. If you are not able to have the work done, please let us know as soon as possible. There is no guarantee we will be able to return to complete the work in the future if you change your mind.

Only the full work detailed will be done as part of the improvement programme your home is included in. We will not complete partial work upon request.
