Today marks a new chapter in British politics as Labour takes up the reins from the Conservative party after 14 years in power. Congratulations to all those elected who are celebrating victory today!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve spoken to parliamentary candidates up and down the country to highlight what’s important to our customers and what they want to see from a future government, and we look forward to working with all elected representatives.

For too long housing has not had the priority it deserves.

To tackle the housing crisis, we need the Government and providers to work together to create a long-term plan for housing, prevent homelessness and shape a fairer welfare system.
