The Employment and Training team at Riverside are here to offer dedicated advice, support and practical help to any Riverside tenant looking to access training or work.

The team offer a tailored service for each tenant we work with. So whether you’re a young person looking for a first job, would like to gain a qualification or are planning for longer term – we are here to help!

What we do

When you get in touch, we’ll contact you to arrange a support call with one of our specialist Employment and Training Officers.  

They’ll listen, understand your needs and develop a plan that is right for you. Some of the ways we can help, include:

  • Getting back to work if you’re unemployed
  • Job searching, CV writing and interview techniques
  • Sharing job opportunities
  • Becoming self-employed or starting your own business
  • Looking for work if you have a disability
  • Looking for work if you have a criminal record
  • Apprenticeships, training and qualifications
  • Accessing funding to support learning or job opportunities
  • Working with other organisations to offer rewarding opportunities
  • Moving your career forward if you’re already in work
