Isle of Dogs Community Chest Programme

Many different people and groups can apply for this funding if they want to help their local community. You do not need to be a large organisation to apply. The following are eligible:

• Local voluntary groups
• Community groups
• Riverside residents' organisations
• Individuals
• Faith-based groups and organisations

We award grants of up to £10,000 for positive projects that address a need in the Isle of Dogs community.

We are particularly keen to receive applications that support our key priorities on the Isle of Dogs. These are:

• making connections with schools and adult learning
• offering training and education opportunities
• encouraging local enterprise and employment schemes
• creating financial awareness
• community sports, arts, social activities and events
• environmental projects
• healthy living.

Applications are reviewed twice a year. To be included in the next review, make sure you apply by one of these deadlines:

• 30 June (applications are assessed at the end of July)
• 31 October (applications are assessed at the end of November)
