Bob is a Chartered Accountant who worked in practice with Ernst & Young, in senior finance roles within J Sainsbury’s Group and at Homebase. He joined National Car Parks as Chief Financial Officer and became Chief Executive Officer following a change of ownership.
He has held non executive roles across a range of sectors including in renewable energy, the NHS, social housing, in education and commercial property development. He was Chair at Hightown Housing Association and is currently an Independent Governor and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at the University of Hertfordshire and Chair of ACS International Schools.
He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool, with a degree in Physical Geography and Geology and he worked as a Geotechnical Engineer before training as an accountant.
Appointed Co-optee July 2020 and became Group Board member on 2nd June 2021
Erfana Mahmood is a qualified senior solicitor who has worked as a property law finance specialist. She qualified as a Property Solicitor with a large, national Registered Social Landlord in 1999 before moving to join a commercial solicitors’ firm as Head of Volume Commercial Lending. She has advised on a wide range of issues relating from property development transactions to commercial lending criteria.
Erfana has served on a number of different Boards as a non-executive director for various organisations operating in the finance, social housing and health sectors. In these roles she has held various positions of responsibility including Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Nomination & Remuneration committee.
Suki is currently Group Executive Director at Futures Housing Group where he has oversight of operations.
Suki has worked at a senior level in housing associations for almost 20 years, and his experience includes roles such as regional director at Clarion Housing, as a managing director and stints in consultancy and regulation. He was previously a board member at St Leger Homes where he was also a member of the Audit Committee.
Lee joined Bromford in May 2016 and was appointed Executive Director of Finance on 1 August 2016. Before joining Bromford, he was the Finance and Commercial Director at Serco Group Plc and brings with him a wealth of experience in delivering better services for less.
Jane is a Chartered Accountant and Risk Assurance specialist who, as a Partner at PwC LLP, has led the provision of assurance services to the social housing and education sectors across the North region for over a decade.
Jane previously led PwC's National Social Housing business and in 2010, was seconded for over two years to the Tenant Services Authority (former Social Housing Regulator) as its Head of Internal Audit & Risk.
As an ambassador and founding Trustee of the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity, Jane was instrumental in developing a permanent infrastructure to support people experiencing or at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping. During her tenure as a Trustee, Jane also chaired the Finance & Audit Committee.
Jane is the former Board Chair of Pro-Manchester, a large business development organisation operating across the Northwest.
Helen Rourke is a qualified CIPFA accountant and has over 20 years’ experience working in senior leadership roles in the social housing sector, and previously worked for KPMG as a social housing and education audit specialist.
Helen is currently Chief Finance Officer for St Mungo’s, a homelessness charity and housing association working with vulnerable people throughout London and the South of England.
Helen has also been a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committee at another housing association in the Northwest.
