Becoming a Board or Committee member – making a difference to people’s lives
Its an exciting time for Riverside, we are in our 95th year, we have just merged with another large housing association, which is allowing us to increase our reach and impact across the country and we have just launched our new Corporate Plan.
Riverside is looking to appoint a number of Board and Committee members to join our Governance Community and help to shape the delivery of our services to customers. We are looking for people who embrace the same values we do, which are:

We are looking for committed Board and Committee members who will not only bring their skills, knowledge and expertise to the role but will want to make a real difference to our customers and communities. Someone who has the knowledge and experience set out in the recruitment pack but diversity, in all its forms, is equally as important to the Board. So we would like to recruit a candidate who comes from a diverse background.

Current vacancy
This role will provide strategic leadership to the Group, ensuring compliance with its vision, values, strategic direction and objectives.
Chair of Audit Committee
Current vacancy
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or internal auditor who has knowledge of the social housing sector.
Chair of Foundation
Current vacancy
The ideal candidate will have worked in or with the third sector, having held a trustee or Non-Executive Director position before.
Group Treasury Committee member
Current vacancy
Makes decisions on behalf of the Board with regards to treasury matters that require higher level approvals.
Group Development Committee member
Current vacancy
Oversees the shaping, design, costing and delivery of Development and Regeneration on Group Board’s behalf.
