Our innovative GROW (Giving Real Opportunities for Work) programme is part of our commitment to help our customers gain employment and find their dream job.
GROW is an integral part of our commitment to tackle and reduce homelessness. It gives those with lived experience of homelessness the opportunity to do a 15-month paid work placement in one of our homeless hostels. Not only do participants receive on-the-job training but they can complete a Level 2 Apprenticeship.
GROW provides valuable work experience that builds skills and confidence, as well as recruiting new people with valuable lived experiences to Riverside.
Riverside is a member of the GEM programme which is a tailored scheme specifically designed to turn graduates into future housing sector leaders. With well-established links with the Chartered institute of Housing, International Housing Partnership and Government departments, The GEM Programme offers a wide range of jobs and intensive learning experiences in the housing sector across the country and even internationally!
We also offer opportunities for those already working within Riverside to develop their talents and career prospects through offering a “graduate or equivalent” route called Talent in House.
We offer work opportunities that provide responsibility, variety and challenge, right from the start. GEMs have the chance to gain a CIH level 4 qualifications, work in a role with real value, take part in our unique GEMshack workshops and shape the future of Housing!
