Goi Ashmore is an experienced Treasurer with 18 years’ experience in treasury, finance and risk. Goi currently works with Commercial and Northern as well as engaging in consultancy work. He has previously worked with Atradius, Cooperative Financial Services and Barclays.
Goi has been a Trustee of the homelessness charity Shelter and Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee since 2018 and was formerly a Board Member at Cadarn/Newydd Housing Group.
Goi holds degrees in Economics from the University of Sheffield and the University of Wales, and he has studied at the Open University and Edinburgh Business School.

Nigel is a Finance Professional with over 30 years’ experience within Housing Associations (LSVT, Traditional, Care, ALMO), Property and Finance. Nigel has recently been employed as a Relationship Manager for the Housing Finance Corporation where he lent around £2bn of capital markets and EIB funding to associations UK-wide. Prior to this he worked in three housing associations and before that, in two commercial property development companies.
Nigel has recently stepped down from the Council of Mortgage Lenders Social Housing Panel and the Social Housing SORP Working Party. He currently sits on the CIPFA/ NHF editorial panel for the ‘Housing Finance Manual and in October 2017 was appointed to Riverside’s Group Treasury Committee.

Fenella is an experienced Treasurer with over 30 years experience in treasury and risk.
After 21 years in post, she has recently stepped down from her role as Group Treasurer of The Housing Finance Corporation Limited (THFC) – a not-for-profit lender to Housing Associations in the UK – where she was also an Executive Director and member of the THFC Group Board and its subsidiaries. Her main area of expertise is in debt capital markets funding where she has raised over £4.5billion through the issuance of bonds under THFC’s various programmes, in addition to arranging over £2billion of funding from the European Investment Bank. She was instrumental in THFC’s delivery of over £3billion of long term funding under the Government Affordable Housing Guarantee Scheme (2013).
Fenella has also been a non-executive board member of Dolphin Living Limited – a Registered Provider operating in Central London for the past 9 years and a member of the Acquisition, Finance and Development Committee.
Prior to joining THFC in 2002 she spent 11 years at Abbey National Treasury Services (ANTS) in a variety of roles covering capital markets, derivatives and market risk, joining the Board of ANTS in 1996.

Phil Elvy has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the social housing sector and for the past 17 years has been Executive Director of Finance at Great Places Housing Group, during which time Phil has raised almost £1bn of funding.
Phil is a Board member at Bespoke Supportive Tenancies Housing Association, a small lease-based, specialist supporting housing provider based in Salford.
Phil has a degree in Accounting and Law from Manchester University, but originates from Kent and is still an avid supporter of Gillingham FC. Phil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
