Handy service available with Status4All in Langley

Riverside has sponsored Status4All, a Langleybased initiative that aims to steer young people towards positive activities through projects, training and work experience.

One example, The Future Growth Project, is being extended to encourage volunteers with DIY and gardening skills to provide services to the elderly and disabled.

The scheme is open to all Riverside tenants and residents in Langley who can’t manage to do small DIY jobs themselves.

The young people work with a mentor, who shadows them and helps to carry out the work needed. The work experience can be added to their CV, to help them find employment.
