AFC North FC are an open age group of men based on North Bransholme, consisting of two teams with over 30 members. Their ages range from 16 up to 48 years.
Currently playing in Division three and five of the East Riding County League, AFC North were struggling to raise funds for a local training facility during the winter.
Club Secretary, Colin Beecham approached Riverside when he heard about the community chest fund which is available to local community groups.

Colin said “we are extremely grateful to Riverside for their financial assistance. This funding has been really beneficial to our club and members, enabling us to train at a fantastic facility at Kingswood Academy.
Lee Bailey, Riverside said “we are always keen to support local community groups and are pleased to be able to help out this local club with their training ground. It’s great that local men of all ages have somewhere to go to keep fit and socialise and we wish them well for the forthcoming season”.
