Riverside, which manages homes on the North Bransholme estate, has sponsored Roar Dance Academy, a local dance school, to enable them to perform on stage in London at the end of February.

Roar Dance Academy, based at Kingswood Academy in North Bransholme was formed by Becky Crisp, a local dance teacher.

Local children aged from 3 years up to 17 years are able to learn street dance and acro dance at the academy.

The sponsorship from Riverside will help towards the cost of a coach to take 16 of Roar’s dancers to London.  Roar Dance were invited to take part in the “Bobby Dazzlers” show at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London.

Bobby Dazzlers is one of the fastest growing dance showcases in the UK.  It’s not a competition, but rather an event that allows groups to showcase it’s work to hundreds of people in the heart of the West End.  Roar Dance will be performing a Justin Bieber routine:  http://vimeo.com/154162510
