Riverside officially took ownership of 491 properties in the Dover and Thanet areas of Kent on Monday. The transfer comes following our successful bid in December to secure our interest and be the preferred bidder for the properties.
After three months of due diligence and a consultation period with customers, we are pleased to be increasing the number of properties that the group have. The new stock is a mixture of general needs, retirement living, shared ownership, leasehold and supported housing.
Mark Martin, Programme Manager Major Projects, who was leading the project said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming new customers to our group and helping us increase our customer base in the Dover and Thanet area. This new stock transfer forms part of our commitment to our corporate objective to deliver acquisitions that fit in with our growth strategy.”
