Floating support for those at risk of homelessness

Riverside Care and Support has recently been commissioned by Liverpool City Council to provide a floating support service in South Liverpool.

Working alongside two further providers, the service offers support to adults over the age of 16 who are at risk of becoming homeless.

The service provides time-limited accessible support and a range of support options, including one-to-one support in your home, drop-in sessions and telephone-based support.

Types of support available include:

  • budgeting and debt management
  • accessing benefits
  • finding accommodation
  • building confidence and working to improve mental and physical well-being
  • making your home a comfortable, safe and secure place to live.

We provide free drop-in services, accessible to anyone in the community, at venues including Joseph Williams Mews, Belle Vale Children’s Centre, St Mark’s Church, The Frontline Centre, Noah’s Ark, Netherley Youth Association and Garston Children’s Centre.
