Hull City’s Jake Livermore’s visited to The Crossings yesterday to cook up a festive feast with customers at the scheme.

Located in the city centre, the 46-bed homelessness centre offering practical support and advice to help people into their own accommodation and back into work.

The Places of Change service has an on-site community café, IT facilities, a multi-use gym and training room. Working in partnership with local training organisations, we run pre-employment courses ahead of moving on into independent living.

Jake and his team donated new television screen plus plenty of Hull City sportswear ahead of Christmas Day at The Crossings.

Alan Marples, our Area Manager in Hull, said: “We extend our thanks to Jake and Hull City AFC for donating new multimedia equipment to benefit our customers’ training and social activity programme, helping us continue to help people get their lives back on track.”
