Your Health and Wellbeing Service is going from strength to strength in Retirement Living schemes nationwide.
And whether you live onsite, or you’re an older customer who lives nearby, there’s plenty to get involved with in the next couple of months…
April – Marvellous Memories
We’ll be hosting sessions with a ‘reminiscence’ theme and also staging St George’s Day parties. Why not host a bash in your scheme to celebrate on 23 April? We’d love to hear your ideas. Just email [email protected]
May – Have Your Say in May
We’ll be encouraging you to tell us what you think throughout May. You’ll be able to rate your Retirement Living service by completing a questionnaire. We’ll also be explaining how tenant representatives can shape the services you receive from us. And we’ll also focus on boosting your income with our Money Advice Service.
If you’d like to find out more, email [email protected] or call us on 0345 111 0000.
News in brief
Friendliest customer
In February’s Health and Wellbeing session called ‘The National Nomination’, we wanted to find Riverside’s friendliest customer.
Who goes that extra mile for others? Who is the face of their scheme? Who loves to help and give back? The nominations have been judged and, after some tough deliberation, the winner is William Doyle, of Alfred Stocks Court, in Liverpool. Congratulations!
Giving back
On 6 June, Riverside staff will be donating their time to help out in Retirement Living schemes. As part of their contracts, they have two days a year to volunteer and this year we’re offering colleagues the opportunity to give time in services like yours.
Congrats to our festive winners
The festive season might be a distant memory, but we’ve been deliberating over the entries to the Christmas Health and Wellbeing competition… and the results are out.
£30 for the Best Decorated Scheme: Hargreaves Court, Ilkeston
The judges said: “This was a really tough one but we loved the attention to detail and particularly liked the three, giant snowmen who made the room really festive!”
£30 for the Best Elf-Themed Event: Turret Green Court, Ipswich
The judges said: “Turret Green Court came out on top with some great outfits and activities and a fab party atmosphere.”
£50 for the most Christmas activities: Vernon House, Leicester
The judges said: “Staff staged a whopping nine Christmas-themed events out of a national total of 86. Well done for giving tenants such a brilliant, festive time.”
