What is the development?
The Derby PFI contract was signed by Riverside and Derby City Council in early September 2012 and is for a fixed term of 30 years. The contract is for the delivery of 104 new-build homes across Alvaston, Chaddesden and Spondon and 66 redeveloped existing homes across the City.
The project has been set up to relieve housing demand, redevelop derelict properties and provide much needed regeneration across the city. The contract specification requires a range of house types are built / refurbed to a very high standard, many of which achieve Lifetime Homes standards. The property portfolio includes 6 fully accessible wheelchair standard properties, including covered disabled parking provision.
