EU Settled Status – Information for EU, EEA or Swiss Citizens

On 1 January 2021 Britain ended its membership of the European Union. Any EU, EEA or Swiss citizens who were living in the UK before 31 December 2020 and wish to continue to live in the UK, must check to see if you need to apply for settled status to be lawfully allowed to remain in the UK.

What do you need to do?

The deadline is approaching fast.

You can check whether you need to apply by visiting www.gov.uk and searching for “Settled Status.”

If you do need to apply, you must have completed your application and submitted all the required documentary evidence before 30 June 2021.

Where can you get help with applications?

The EU Settlement Resolution Centre is available to answer questions about applications on 0300 123 7379 or by sending a message using the online form.
