Why we are changing the way we deliver services to our customers?
From Monday 4th January 2016, Riverside will cease to provide a reception from its high street office attRiverside Berrybridge Office at 410 East Prescot Road, Liverpool L14 2EQ. This follows an extensive review about how our offices are used and of the value they provide to customers.
Our review has told us that most of our tenants who need to speak with us, choose to contact us by telephone or make an appointment to see a Housing officer. As each year goes by, more and more tenants prefer to contact us either by phone or on-line rather than travelling to an office, which for many tenants, is simply too far from their home anyway. In fact the majority of our tenants have never called into any of our offices. Tenants can now access their rent accounts on-line, meaning they now do not even need to speak to an officer unless they really need to. The new Riverside website also allows tenants to access information about the area they live in.
Our Riverside Hub office will remain available if customers need to call in. This office can be located at:
- 1 Walton Road, Everton Valley, Liverpool L4 4AD (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
In February 2016, we will be closing our Lee Valley office to make way for a new building development of homes for rent and shared ownership. Some of our staff will be relocating to our head office at Speke. These office closures are part of a wider programme to provide a more flexible mobile service to customers.
We have already started our plan to deliver an enhanced service through our new website. This is now easier than ever to navigate and is compatible for smartphones and tablets too. Customers can now view their rent statement, report a repair and pay their rent online. Changes to the website are a result of requests from our customers to manage services in a way that suits them, without the need to visit one of our offices. Alongside the website we are continuing our pledge to deliver a flexible more personal service by visiting our customers, in their own homes, or at locations more convenient to you, using the latest technology to deal with issues on the spot.
