Residents have a pendant which they can use to call the onsite staff in an emergency, they also have access to a number of assistive technology options such as door sensors, enuresis sensors for those who are incontinent, pressure sensors so that staff know if someone has got out of bed or out of a chair, activity monitors in the apartments and fall detectors for those who are at high risk of falling.
Residents who rent their apartments will be assessed as needing a package of care from social services, each package is individual to the resident and this will be delivered by the onsite care team. Our staff are on hand to assist you with any questions you have about extra-care housing as an option for you or your family member.
