Riverside ECHG has updated its name to Riverside Care and Support. 

Our new name was officially unveiled at a launch event last month where Executive Director Léann Hearne declared “we now have a name that says what we do on the tin”.

Léann joined Chief Executive Carol Matthews at King George’s supported housing scheme in Westminster, where we help former homeless people move on with their lives.

During the event, Support Worker Winston Hudson spoke about his progress from being homeless himself, to getting a trainee post under Riverside Care and Support’s Giving Real Opportunities for Work (GROW) programme.

This finally led to a job with as as a Support Worker and Winston is now a valued member of the team at King George’s. 

The rebranding of our name to Riverside Care and Support now allows us to describe what our unique focus is. It shows we are specialists in providing not just housing but care and support and over the coming months you will see a lot  more about the great services we provide.
