Scrutiny panel produces annual report

Our scrutiny panel has produced its annual report

Our Divisional Scrutiny Panel has produced its annual report, detailing its work over the past 12 months in three areas – service charges, anti-social behaviour and responsive repairs.

The report also lays out the purpose of the panel, findings and recommendations for improvement to Riverside.

Community Engagement Officer Mark Browne said: “The work that the Divisional Scrutiny Panel has done has been invaluable to Riverside, they really are critical friends, who look at services in a completely impartial way, and look at every minute detail of a service.

“They operate completely independently from Riverside, which gives a real honest appraisal of how a service is currently running.

“The volunteers themselves bring a wealth of experience, and genuinely want to improve services for all tenants and service users.”

The panel is now working closely with Riverside to ensure its recommendations are woven into services, setting out clear, realistic deadlines for implementation.
