Meet Tom, 23, who works as an accounts payable assistant at Riverside in Liverpool. After leaving school he studied art and design at college and then didn’t know what he wanted to do next.

He worked in a shop for a year and decided to do a business administration apprenticeship with a courier company. Tom not only gained a full-time position there but also went on to study an AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and completed levels 2 and 3.

He joined Riverside in June 2017 and is now working towards his level 4 AAT under the Apprenticeship Levy scheme.
